Virginia Citizen's Defense League Endorses Matt Cholko for Delegate in 39th District

Annandale, VA, October 26, 2009 - Today, Matt Cholko, Libertarian candidate for House of Delegates in the 39th district, was endorsed by the Virginia Citizen's Defense League's political action committee (VCDL-PAC).

“I'm absolutely thrilled that VCDL decided to throw their weight behind my campaign. It's a substantial endorsement and I'm proud to be deemed worthy of it,” said Cholko.

VCDL-PAC Chairman, Kenneth M. Elliot, Jr. announced the list of candidates they were endorsing via email and urged their membership to support the candidates on election day. VCDL is a non-partisan, grassroots organization that works to defend the gun rights of Virginians.

“Both the Virginia and the US Constitutions very clearly state that our right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. If I'm elected, I'll fight tirelessly to defend that right,” said Cholko of his gun-rights stance.
